Samsung Health app not tracking distance or speed while cycling

My health app has stopped tracking distance, speed and exact route when i set a distance target for cycling. It did do this properly and gave me speed and distance updates periodically until recently.

It could be coincidence but it seems to have stopped working since the last system update.

I have checked the settings but I can't see anything obvious that's wrong. Any suggestions?

I found that clearing the cache memory in apps worked.. I cleared then turned off and restarted both my phone and watch. This then solved the problem

I am having same issue as well: no distance when cycling, but the app does count steps, in the same timeframe! A lot... I use iOS app with Galaxy Active watch
