I am hoping someone can advise.

Just sold a Samsung Galaxy S10 for my partners daughter. We were going to keep it ourselves as a really nice phone, just a little too big and fragile.

Phone appeared excellent and sold quickly. The new owner is unhappy and says there are dead pixels. Please see photo supplied. Anyone seen this type of scenario before. What could have caused it and any remedy?

I certainly can't see any impact damage or anything above the dead pixel area @rhino666?..is there any that I can't see?... And is there any screen flickering at all when the phone is charging?.. Why dead pixels happen is often difficult to solve.. Just an unfortunate wear and tear problem in my opinion. 👍

Hi I think I agree with you, just a wear and tear issue. There has been no impact that I am aware of. Phone always in a good protective case and no sign of damage.  Cannot understand how we genuinely missed it and it does actually show on my dark screen listing photos, albeit not very clearly.

Since posting I have done some reading and this seems a common issue with Samsung phones. There are even screens with dots on for sale on ebay.

The buyer can live with the crescent shaped imperfection but has asked for £50 of the £195 paid back which I think is fair and will refund him.
