S10e Wireless Charging Battery Drain & Overheat

Hi All

Over the past two weeks my two year old S10e has begun to heat up more than normal when using it. I think there was a software update a few weeks ago which might be the problem.

Also started two weeks ago when wirelessly charging it charges to 100% then drops to around 90%. I use a genuine Samsung Qi quick charging stand that's 4 years old and has always keep a trickle charge at 100% even on my old S7 (charging with a cable keeps it at 100%).

Any solutions?

Take it to a official samsung store and their technician will have a look at it. It seems like the firmware update may have caused a few issues to your device.

Clear your system cache, leave for a few days.If no improvement please post your battery stats. Certain apps including Chrome and not social media apps drain batteries under Android 11 because they are not fully compatible.
