Galaxy S10 SeriesHi,
I have been using my S10e for 2 weeks and I couldn't be more happy with it. Before this I had a S6 (and before that a S4 and before that a S2) and again, the upgrade brings even more than I expected!
However, I notice that the screen seems to scratch shockingly easily. Within a few days already, a number of long, superficial scratches were visible, but now even a short, deeper scratch has appeared. This one especially is very visible and irritating. I have no idea how this is possible, because I treat my S10 very carefully, exactly the same way as my S6 before. I have had the S6 for 4 years, without it ever showing a single visible scratch (only a few very superficial ones over years of usage).
Hence, I was always impressed by the quality of the Samsung Galaxy screens, which makes it very surprising that the S10(e) seems so different in this regard. Is it just bad luck or are there more people with this experience?
Unfortunately, there no standard protector came with the S10e (as it does with the S10 and S10Plus) and - to my surprise - the scratches were already visible before I had the chance to attach a separate screen protector myself.

Galaxy S10 Seriesmy wife and I both have the same experience. I am very careful with my device, make sure it is not rubbing on anything hard, yet I am finding quite deep scratches on the screen. My wife keeps hers in her purse. After taking a look it is covered in scratches! Apparently the screen on these phones is very soft and easily scratches!

Galaxy S10 SeriesYES! I was just complaining about this. My s8 was perfect screen almost 3 years but my s10 is covered in time scratches sheet a free months. It's really snowing. The glass screen protector I bought pretty much disabled the fingerprint sensor even though it said it wouldn't do I'm not wasting money in another one. Really frustrating.

Galaxy S10 Seriesthe same story here. i had before LG g7 and, regardles the quality of G phones itself, after 2 years the screen surface looked better than s10 after 3 weeks of very careful use

Galaxy S10 SeriesI recently bought an S10, so dissatisfied with the screen. It scratches so easily. None of my previous phones had that problem it's really disappointing. I don't like to use screen protectors, I've never needed them, I rather change the phone to something better, really terrible flaw in this product.

Galaxy S10 SeriesSame here! My 1 year old S9 has zero scratch. My 1 week old S10 has many deep scratches. It's a shame Samsung and a very big mistake that you made a step back with the screen.
Thinking to switch back to S9...

Galaxy S10 SeriesI thought I had the same issue. But just discovered the S10 came with a preinstalled plastic screenprotector (in the Netherlands). Which of course is easily scratched. The protector is almost invisible, check your phone and you may be happy again

Galaxy S10 SeriesYes you are right. I realized it later. And happily you can buy a new one if you want to replace it:

Galaxy S10 SeriesThanks from Canada!I even called the phone store to complain about the scratches 2 days after I bought the S10 (this is my 5th Samsung phone and I love them). They didn't mention that the screen protector was removable. I just removed the cheap protector and I will pick up a thicker version. So good to know!

Galaxy S10 SeriesYes mine too. It has been 12 days now with my new galaxy s10e and there are a lot of scratches already. It is like it gets those scratches from just pulling them out of my pocket because I am too carefull with it. I have never had a phone screen scratch so easily like this before and I wonder how Samsung can allow this on a top device.

Galaxy S10 SeriesSame here I had mine about a week and it got scratched before that I was using an iphone 6s for 3 years and no scratches. I suspect Samsung have cut corners here and not applied some kind of protective coating. The first scratch was as the top and I could live with but the next one is a visable deep scratch in the middle which is very annoying. The second scratch occured whilst I was waiting for my order on a screen protector. Over all my biggest dissapoiment is how shickingly poor and fragmented the Andriod OS is and have bought a 2nd hand Iphone X 256 GB which sot about the same is about a million times better. I will be selling my S10e wow that was great it lasted 4 weeks well done Samsung.

Galaxy S10 SeriesAm i missing something here, for all those people writing about scratches after a couple of days etc. read every second comment here, the phones, including the S10e come with a screen protector film.
I had the same issue and was nervous about peeling at the corner of the screen but there is a screen protector on the S10e.
It is a film one and is very easily scratched. Examine a corner of your screen very carefully and you will see and feel it.
I ordered a full glue tempered glass protector from Amazon for my 10e and then replaced the samsung film one with this.
The beauty of the 10e is with having a flat screen and no curves, the protector went on perfectly, not a bubble to be seen.

Galaxy S10 SeriesHi,
I have a S10 plus.
Afrer my discusion with customer service I am a bit disapointed. They said is imposible the screen to scratch. I had before a S7 and no problem with the screen. I am using just a flip case from Samsung and I managed to scratch the screen.
This hapened one month after I bougth the phone.

Galaxy S10 SeriesI have exactly the same issue as yours. My old, hand-me-down Samsung S5 lasted for years without a single scratch on the screen. Yet the S10 screen didn't last 2 weeks with careful usage before patches of fine scratches and some deeper scratches appeared even though it's protected by a phone wallet cover from day 1. Very disappointing.

Galaxy S10 SeriesI have a Samsung Note S10+ and I'm currently experiencing the same issue. I've started from a Samsung S3 and went up skipping some generations of the phone. I always put them in my pocket and I pulled out my phone and I am shocked from the amount of scratches it has. Every other Samsung I have owned has been in perfect condition when I kept them in my pocket. I've been googling everything to somehow get rid of them. I'm happy I'm not the only one who noticed this!

Galaxy S10 SeriesI had the same issue. Had the phone 2 weeks and it had a lot of small scratches.. I was so disappointed. I had my galazy s7 many years with no problem, so at that moment I regreted my "upgrade".
I had seen there was some kind of protection on the screen, but it was pretty stuck on there. After reading instructions to remove it, I tried a bit harder. It came off and the screen seems back to galaxy standard.

Galaxy S10 SeriesSeriously does anyone read previous posts. 6 pages of posts that tell you that this phone comes with a thin plastic screen protector that scratches easily. You will find that you can peel this off but i would recommend that you first look to buy a tempered glass protector.

You are the one not reading. It's the actual glass that scratches that easy.

Galaxy S10 SeriesSo the plastic screen that comes with the S10e is practically invisible with most people not even aware that there is one on it.
So why having just received this brand new phone are people peeling this off. I had to examine my phone really closely before i believed it had a plastic screen saver on it, it was that hard to see.

Galaxy S10 SeriesYou peel it off when it becomes scratchy. But when you are used to Samsung phones till the 10 series, you had never the need to use a foliet or plastic screen. The glasses never got damaged from just putting the phone in your pocket. Then came the 10. Just from carrying it the glass received tons of micro scratches.
