Galaxy S10 SeriesI have had my Samsung S10 plus now for just over a month. there is so many issues with this phone I just can't believe how bad it has been since I have gotten it. the battery for a start is beyond the worst. it drains faster than my Samsung S9 plus every did, even with the brightness low, background apps being put to sleep, I've tried all I can to save battery. but nothing has worked so far. also the problem with the screen time out. I always set it to more than 30 seconds because it's annoying when the screen dims and cuts the phone off when your midway through doing something. but lately everytime I shut down my phone and put it back on it has went back to the 30 seconds, also location settings are also a problem, it works for some apps and not for other apps. there is a lot of bugs in the pie software update its unreal. when I switch on my phone I want to be able to finger press to log in. not use a password. also when on a call if I want to press the touch screen button it won't let me, to dial a number, I have to press the side button for the screen to come back on so I can then press 1 when I'm on a call to a company asking to do this press 1 or 2, it is so frustrating. also the touch button should always be lit up when the phone isn't active. I don't want always on display because the battery drain from that is also terrible. but when the screen is blank and I try and press the touch button on my phone to get into my phone it just takes a few tries to get it. also that is another issue. I've registered my thumb print in all angles and it says no match, a lot. i preferred the touch on the back of the phone. it was so much easier. the only thing I can praise is the camera, I mean, that is amazing. there is lots and lots of issues I have had with Samsung S10 plus that I have never had with Samsung S9 Plus, it's too late now but I would switch back to S9 Plus in a second. I had no problems at all with that phone. I think Samsung needs to own up to this stuff. I'm now paying for a phone each month that is now not good and I'm tied into a 2 year contract. it is terrible. then they are bringing out a 5G version in a few months I hear. which is terrible for us who just got this phone. it's like we have been conned. I am so fed up with this phone already. it's not what I thought it would be. the software is just terrible. I think I'm not the only one having these problems, I can't be. get it fixed Samsung soon.

Galaxy S10 SeriesI bought an S10+ last week to compare to the 'note' series and have wasted my money. I am a Global reviewer for product and services and I'm about to publish a review on this product, it will not be good. I have done an in depth software test and have concluded that there has been little software testing done prior to release. This will damage the release of the G5 most certainly in Australia. The lack of response to issues from Samsung is surprising and they appear to be continuing with the prerelease hype that is now looking like an intentional effort to mislead potential buyers. I think Samsung are in a precarious position here and could give ground back to their competition. Regardless of the Samsung position, this product has shown to be substandard and falls far short of the capabilities and stability that they have described. In some aspects it is not fit for purpose. I will be encouraging anyone interested in the release of the G5 to look at the S10 rubbish that has preceded it.

Galaxy S10 SeriesIt's crazy because I have not had any of these issues. My battery literally can last for 8 to 9 hours screen time....Unless I am playing games but even then I think it's a great battery. I'm honestly very impressed with the S10 Plus maybe you just got a bad one out of the bunch or something.

Galaxy S10 SeriesI had a Samsung J5 and the draining the battery was one big issue and the other was I only installed two Apps one was my bank but then said full. So bought a Samsung S10 Plus had a few days now and I am already fed up with it and thinking of sending it back.
First problem set up finger print recognition and then that doesnt come up - I didnt set up a pin number (on this phone my J5 yes) and yet it accepted it - so what is the bloody point of setting up finger print recognition if you can get into it with (any random pin number)? Also then because wanted to keep my old number tried to change it despite clicking on profile and edit (the preloaded/preset number with the sim) was greyed out so couldnt change.
As only had a few days I have only had one phone call my husband and couldnt end it - call end button wouldnt work. Cant find anything in settings and basically I bloomin dont want to spends days playing with the bloomin thing when thats a rather basic function (lifes to short for this kinda hassle). So had less than a week what other problems am I going to find?

Actually they're not even close. I'm only paying about $600. If you're going to get the s20 you might as well get the ultra version which is running for about $1400. That's more than twice the price. If there was ever a time to buy the S10 Plus, it would be now.

Galaxy S10 SeriesYeah it sucks you're having problems with your phone, I haven't had any issues at all. The fingerprint scanner is great for security, paying bills and checking bank accounts. There's a lot of things you can do with the scanner. I recommend that you go into your settings and load about three different images of the finger that you're using. I actually did three of my right thumb and three of my left thumb. I never have any issues getting into my phone. I would probably talk to your phone service provider and see what they can do about your number.

Galaxy S10 SeriesWell I wanted to keep my monthly costs to under £50 as also paying for a phone on contract for my husband and granddaughter. So thank you for the advice - I did have a quick look at the costs of a S20 and at the time were out of my price range. Just wish I could understand and find how to: get the accept a call button and end a call button to work so at least I could actually answer a call and end it afterwards. Firstly there was no where to put my finger etc to (so that bit of the screen for it to scan your finger) had disappeared and then concerned it asked for a pin number when I hadnt set one up and then so readily accepted a pin number I had used for my previous phone and unlocked it. Then lastly there is the inability to change number on profile due to it being greyed out so hoping getting a replacement sim will sort that problem out.
