S10 recharge randomly stops

Hi, I have an S10 which randomly stops charging when its plugged in. I also have experienced where if I remove the cable out of the adapter the phone would show that it's still charging? The random pausing occurs at around 70% and 95%. If I remove the adapter and plug it back into the socket it would start charging again. Not sure if its a fault of my battery or not.

I think its a software issue or battery problem.

When I hear this I suspect maybe your usb port is damaged somehow.  Plugged in it should never stop charging unless it gets physically interupted. So my guess is hardware/ usb port.

Is the device warm to tocuhb, or should i say quite abit warm when it happens? Can you install cpu-z and see battery temp? at 46C the software stop the charging to prevent damage.

If it is not due to temp it is very likely that you have a damaged port, i advise to take care of it asap since it is under warranty because it requires a complete logic board swap
