S10 + problems calling from car

Most calls that i make using handsfree from the car result in the person im calling only being able to hear the radio, or nothing at all if that isnt on.  They cant hear anything at all that I say.  I hang up and call again and its fine.  Most annoying! Does anyone know of a fix or is there a Samsung update that will cover this problem.  EE told me some months ago that they know of the issue but have no fix as yet and are waiting for Samsung to issue the update.

Do you have both audio an calls on in Bluetooth? It could be an issue the car. My S10 on EE and BMW M4 works fine

Yes, both. Never had the problem with my iphone, just the Samsung

What are you connecting to. Sometimes its worth forgetting the connection and try to set up again

Thanks but I've done that quite a few times. EE are taking the phone in for repair tomorrow, see what they come up with.

Well, EE have replace the phone with a new one which has solve the problem. Must have been an issue with the phone.

Well, new phone arrived and no problems until now and this one is exactly the same! Make a call and the receiving person can either hear my radio, Spotify or nothing if nothing else is on, certainly not me, although I can hear them. I hang up and try again and no problem. I'm not using android auto, just the generic Mercedes Bluetooth which works fine with other makes of phone. Another call to EE😢
