S10+. Seems to only wake up the screen 50% of the time when picking up or moving to enter thumb point to unlock.
The other 50% I have to press power button to wake up the phone then do thumb print. Any ideas?

To start with perhaps try a soft reboot by turning the phone off and on @David5555
