Hey, I'm fairly new to S10 and would want to know if there is any way for a light to appear on the screen or around the frontal camera when I have received any message and haven't opened it yet. Is there any way to do this?

If you look in the Playstore there are apps that make the light ring around the camera fire to notify a person of an incoming notification @Albert80

@Albert80: Also, if you go to Settings > Display > Edge Screen > Edge Lighting (On), and choose your preferred Lighting Style along with the apps you'd like to receive notifications from, you should be good to go.
