Galaxy S10 SeriesHey, just got my s10 Plus a few weeks ago and found a bug that HASN'T been fixed in forever..
https://www.reddit.com/r/samsung/com...et_call_skype/
https://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxyS8/co...ile_the_phone/
https://www.reddit.com/r/discordapp/...ne_as_a_whole/
https://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...lling-app.html
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8+/help/low-audio-quality-media-call-voip-t3595896
Things I've tested..
Listening to spotify BEFORE going into a Whatsapp/Discord call still works as normal. But once you skip/pause the song the bug happens starts.
Turning Wifi calling off doesn't do anything.
Messing around with samsung sound assistant doesn't do anything.
Using the game launcher trick doesn't work.
Messing around with Dolby Atmos doesn't do anything.
Some games will totally ignore this bug and sound normal.
YouTube vanced is the only app that uses "media vol" over the "In-call vol", yet still sounds somewhat ****.
Replaced the phone.
UI 2.0 update didn't fix it.
Also, my friend who has the Snapdragon chipset WASN'T getting this problem untill today after she updated with the July update...
Anyone else also getting this?

Galaxy S10 SeriesI replied to another topic. But this seems to be the same issue so I'll just copy over my replies from the other topic.
I have the same issue on a galaxy S8+.
This happens on the audio output for the entire phone. Does not matter if audio is playing to phone speakers, audio jack or bluetooth headphones.
How to easily replicate:
1: Play music with spotify or other app.
2:open discord/skype (or other voip app that enables 'call mode' on the phone)
3:open a voice call with the app.
-you should now immediately notice a drastic and unbearable decrease in sound quality for the entire sound output of the phone.
I noticed this because I have terrible cellphone reception in my area and wanted to use discord over wifi as an alternative but as soon as the call opens the audio quality is reduced to a level which I am not able to understand what my father(reduced voice due to illness) is saying.
This is a dealbreaker for me and I am seriously considering returning the phone and switching to a brand which does not have this problem. I have read on some discord and skype forums that Huawei and samsung phones have this problem while some pure android phones and other brands does not.
This seems like a pure software issue and should be rather easy to fix for a big company like Samsung. I would rather not switch brands as I have gotten used to samsung phones and have gotten my entire family to get Samsung phones.
But if it isn't fixed I will have to.

Galaxy S10 SeriesThis is an issue also on the Note 10+ using the most recent updates. Please help us out here, Samsung. It's unbearably bad. I even bought some Galaxy Buds+ to see if it would somehow help out.

Galaxy S10 SeriesSo here we are... Still... Nothing has been fixed.. I guess my bug report got lost... Almost one year later.
Why am I using my s7e over my s10+ when it comes to sound?
