S10+ doesn't charge anymore with powerbanks at 2amp

My S10+ charges fine at the wall socket and it says fast charging and charges normally. However from maybe 2 weeks ago, I noticed that my portable charger which I always use stopped charging at 2 amp, it would always charge at 2amp and then when my phone was in use, it'd drop to 1amp and then when I turn the screen off, it switches back to 2amp automatically. I changed cable and tried 4 other different brands of chargers which would also use to charge my phone at 2amp but now none of them do. Is there something wrong with the charging port? Since it cannot be that all the different power banks I've tried are all faulty, whatever part it is that requests to draw power at 2amp seems to be faulty, could this be software issue from a firmware update? Or is this more so hardware related?

Hey @budgiesmuggler! When charging your phone using a portable charger, it will naturally charge slower than using a normal charger. This is due to the fact that a portable charger will produce less power to charge the device, compared to a wall socket charger. Are you using an official portable Samsung charger to charge your S10+?

Hello, I understand the portable charger will always be slower, however since March/April (when it was released) up until now, ALL the powerbanks I have used charged my S10+ using 2amp and from 50 percent to 100, it would only take around an hour. Now all of a sudden from maybe two weeks ago, all these powerbanks when charging my phone from around 50 percent, says it will take nearly 2 hours and beyond. It cannot be that the powerbanks are ALL faulty so I am concerned it could be something to do with the hardware on my phone? None of these are the official Samsung powerbanks however that shouldn't matter given that these 4 powerbanks worked before, why would they all of a sudden stop working now at 2amp.

My portable powerbank charges my s10+ for less than 1 amp for less than 10 secs then my s10+ says "connect your charger" bear in mind that the same thing happened to on a replacement unit send from the company and the issue doesnt show up with other mobile like my nokia 6.1 plus however on an other powerbank this issue doesnt show up on my S10+ and works fine with the wall charger

Mine also only charges at 1 amp. This is really annoying because not always I have access to a QC charger. It should draw 2 Amps @ 5V. And Yes, the charger is 2.4A capable.

Hi yes mine is doing the same charges from the wall charger but won't charge from my power bank....only started to do it about 4 weeks ago....if you find out how to fix it let me know....
