s10 charging

I have had my s10 for almost a year. It is so dear to me. However in the last 2 months I have had issues with charging. Firstly I got a dampness warning when there was none and laterally after my weekly auto restart.i managed to solve that by doing a restart. i have 2 weeks left on my warranty but I don't want to be without my phone if I can help it it's so  upsetting to see my charge dying when there is nothing i can do about it.

Hi I had the damp warnings on my previous Note 8 which just got progressively more frequent until i couldn't charge it through the usb port anymore and had to rely on wireless charging. My S10+ has just started giving the same warnings, I'd suggest getting it looked at as it's only going to get worse

Usually a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre can take a look in house if you have one local which means you wouldn't have to send it off.

 

Also via using a torch look inside the charging port to see if there's any debris in there.

thanks for taking the time to reply. I will take in to pc World. it's a pity because the phone is excellent. but if it has charging issues it's no good to anyone. I have a PAYG and my laptop so I can be patient. so nice that people care.

Just had charging issues again with my s10 managed to get it sorted out after 5 days by purchasing a wireless charger. Now the phone is charging with the cable again. But not before i was at my wits end fortunately i did have my laptop. Went onto utube and was quite shocked to see over 2 thousand replies to a video put out trying to help others with the same problem. So it is not just me. Please samsung. I love my s10 dearly. But any device is useless if they cannot charge. I try to look after my phone. The damp warning is missing .I hope this post can help others.
