S10+ Cannot hear caller on incoming calls

This first started a few months ago but after a soft reset, disappeared.  Whenever an incoming call is answered, I cannot hear the caller but they can hear me.  However, if I make an outgoing call, two-way conversation is normal.  This has just started again recently.  I've tried resetting the network - this is a bit of a pain as all connections for wi-fi and bluetooth etc need to be reset afterwards, as well as a soft reset.  I think the problem started again almost immediately after the upgrade to Android 10 but that could be a complete coincidence.  PLEASE HELP!  Apologies if this has been brought up before.

Are you able to try your sim card in another phone to see what happens then @BSB1  ?

A Samsung Experience Store  / Samsung Service Centre couod help if you can get to one.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

I decided to soft reset the phone last night and it worked OK when I tested it so I doubt it will be SIM-related.  This isn't the first time that I have soft-reset the phone though so we'll see how long this lasts.  I decided to update all apps before I did so thinking it might be related to an app that wasn't previously optimised for the Android 10 update.  We'll see.

I have the same problem with my S9. It is a known issue if you search it on Google. It is unexceptable if you ask me. I got earbuds to rectify the problem.
