My screen on my S10 is smashed and the UI is now useless. I have a ton of pics that I would like to get from this phone. When I plug in a USB cord, the phone doesn't connect and therefore is not mappable.

What is the easiest way to retrieve the photos?

@GC88: Sorry to hear that you have damaged your Galaxy S10. Depending on you existing backup options I'd recommend checking your OneDrive account via an internet browser, or signing in to Google Photos to see if an archive of your images has been backed up to either of these locations. It won't be possible to access the data on your phone if the display is damaged and inoperable, therefore you may wish to reach out to our Help Desk via the link below to arrange for the device to be inspected and repaired.

I'm guessing there's a screen lock or pin on the phone set that's why the PC / Laptop won't read it as a external drive.

if its repaired without a reset or format then you've got them back but yeah check all possible cloud options first...
