If you connect the device to the pc and swipe down there will be an system message that reads "android system" tap for other USB options, if you tap that it will allow you to change it. If this does not work go to settings apps and there is an arrow pointing down click on that and toggle show system apps on and search for USB settings and clear cache and data for this and plug device back in may need to try the first steps again.
