"System" category in Storage in S10Plus

What types of files fall into category "System" in storage?

Even tho I've 1 TB, but 85+GB is way too much than I expect in this category.

Could anyone explain please?

Wow that's ALOT of memory! I've just checked mine on my s20 ultra and it's only 19gb... Have you got alot of games installed? The games usually get installed in the system

Judging by the fact that your storage says exactly 1TB, when it should be less due to the binary approximations computers use. (The reason why a 1TB hdd will only show 931GB free), i am assuming that your system is including that reduced amount within itself. So the standard 20-30GB OS files and stuff, plus the ~50-60GB that is usually 'lost' when the storage size is analysed.

So basically instead of just putting that unusable space into the "free space" and so showing 950GB free, its showing the full 1TB and putting the 50GB into the system folder instead.
