Hei there,

Samsung S10e.

When turning on the phone i get very often an annoying pop up message "open channel for BIP". I didn't find much online to solve the problem, any help?

Thanks

@ZenArcade: I've never seen that message before :thinking-face:

To eliminate the possibility that it's stemming from a third party app, please can you restart your phone in Safe Mode and let me know if the message continues to pop up?

Turn the device off > Press and hold the Power key > Release the Power key when the S10e logo appears > Press and hold the Volume Down key immediately after releasing the Power key > Continue to hold the Volume Down button until the device finishes booting.

Hei, thanks for the quick answer. I have tried to restart the phone in safe mode but i am still getting the message, see picture attached. I will try the contact my network operator also, can it be a problem related to sa.jpgthe sim card?

Is the phone completely up to date?

Do you have an SD card in the phone?

Could you give it a go without the SD card just for a few minutes, so we can rule out whether that is the culprit?

I'm not sure what it means either, but i get the same message upon restarting my phone. I think it's about time to get a new one. I haven't tried starting it in safe mode but that's my next step because i think it may be related to an app that hasn't been completely uninstalled. I have also noticed that im getting an error message on my voicemail app and sometimes have trouble with the internet pages loading. I don't know if it's all connected somehow, so if you ever found out about it, information woould be appreciated.

Hei there,

I tried pretty much everything but i didn't find any solution. I also contacted my mobile operator and they made me change some settings (MMS and SMS protocols) but nothing. I guess i just have to live with it :smiling-face: the message appears a couple of times upon restart but then it disappears fortunately. Still, it would be nice if they could solve the problem.

Good luck!
