Hi!

My S10+ has been indicating moisture is being detected in my charging port for nearly a week now, despite not being near any source of moisture.

So far, I've restarted my device. Cleared the "UsbSettings" settings system app of its data as suggested in another thread, and tried drying/clearing the port with compressed air. None of these actions has resolved the warning, nor can I connect my device to my vehicle or a charging cable.

Luckily I have been charging wirelessly since I purchased the device in December, so at least I can still use it as a phone.

Has anyone got any other advice I could try?

Thanks!

@PlusAsh: Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue. Can you head to the Members apps and go to Get Help > interactive Checks > USB, and follow the on screen prompts. Does this return any errors? If so, I recommend reaching out to our Help Desk via the link below where an advisor will be on hand to assist you further, and arrange any necessary repairs. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Hi @AndrewL,

Sadly I get the "Unplug your device" message with a rather loud repetitive tone accompanied by a question asking if I plugged something in. When selecting "Yes", it tells me action is required.

@PlusAsh: Thank you for checking that for me. Based on the results of the USB test I recommend getting in touch with our Help Desk using the link above, as this will need to be inspected by one of our engineers under warranty.
