Have the s10 plus. Night videos are super blurred and not sharp when recording. I record max resolution at 60fps. Changing modes makes no difference. It is significantly worst than my s9 plus. Anyone else got the problem.

Why is no one highlighting this problem on YouTube or here. Assume people dont film indoor and they probably dont realise there is a problem.  I bought this because they talked about good quality video. But Samsung only referred it to day time. I use my phone for recording 4k but disappointed by the blurred footage.

Hi, I have to agree. I own the S10. My freind who owns the S9 was using his to record some flashing lights in the basement on some eletrical equiment. When i tried this on the S10 it was horrible. Really grainy with like 'noise' running across the screen in lines.

I have to Samsung S10 , was using the Samsung S9+ , it is the quality of recording in 4K 60FPS was a normal night , but on S10 some noise and blurred picture , no definition at all . Disgusting shooting in low light , even if you turn on a powerful light , the picture is still bad . Developers , do something to be able to have a video similar to the Samsung S9

True! I'm using a Malaysian unit and I went out for some cityscape video. It's was so grainy no matter what mode you use. The noise level is really bad! Much worse than my mid range old phone.

Have you guys tried utilising Super Night Shot Mode via the Scene Optimiser? If not please check out the following link for further details.

Of course! But the scene optimiser is not very helpful. Here are a few reasons:

1. The noise removal techniques are terrible. It creates lots of artifacts and photo will lose sharpness.
2. Super night shot is an auto feature, which means we can't activate that feature manually like on the other Android phones. The Pixel 3 is the best example.

The quality of Super Night Shot is horrible if you compare similarly priced phone such as the Pixel 3 and P20 (I'm not even going to use the P30 here).

More problem arises when we switch to video mode. The HDR or normal 4K recording at night time is 100% a joke. I wasn't even dare to post them just now.

Thank you for your suggestion. The problem is regarding filming in low light. The problem could be a software issue, or a poorly designed lens. I have a feeling the lens quality is the problem. The s9 probably uses better lenses.

The hardware is sufficient, and cameras processing isnt up to par.

Just a little more firmware improvement is needed to remove noise and grainy images.

Thats my take.

iam for Portugal and already post a problem when i take photos the image is worst than my s9+ and is incompreeensive this ... the s10+ is not a cheap phone to come with problems like this... with this i want to say that if exist problems in photos may have also problems in video. i receive an update yesterday that mentioned improvements in camera i will see..

Hoping the issue is software. Maybe they wanted peoplenl to trade old phone so no one noticed the poor camera quality which is comparable to the s7 edge. I have the s7 edge, s9 plus and s10 plus. Just got the Huawei p30 pro on friday. P30 pro is not as nice as s10, however the video quality and photo at night is significantly better than s10. S10 video is s7 edge quality very blurry and fuzzy. S9 video and photo quality at night is much better. If indoor videos is important then the s9plus is better and cheaper too. Please note this is unbiased review. I have missed the 14 day return day so I am stuck with the s10 for a while. I like Samsung and this has been personally a bad experience for me as you cant have a worst camera then your previous version esp I rely on filming my kids. Appears others have the same problem.

Very grainy video. Cry everytime I see it. Come on Samsung. Fix the problem....or is the lens got a flaw. I guess having so many cameras they had to cut the cost somewhere!
