Why, when pics/photos have been transferred to their individual albums are they still in the gallery? I'd like to see the gallery emptied once pics/photos are transferred....

Gallery isn't a storage location, it's just an app that finds all pics and video on your phone so wherever they are will always show up in Gallery.
