Photos deleting on my S10+

This is happening more and more since a few months ago.

My phone is updated as of July 1st, and my Google Photos (which does regular uploads when on wifi) shows the same ones gone.

I'm extremely hesitant right now to take any photos or video because of this... I don't want precious memories lost...

Try not syncing to online vaults to see then if your photos held in the Samsung Galary remain as a process of elimination @michaelphillips

Okay, i gave that a try and it seemed to make sense... however it is still happening.  ☹☹
