Galaxy S10 SeriesHi, I have a Galaxy S10+ and I can't get it to update.
Model Number - SM-G975F
Current Version - G975FXXU1ASD5/G975FOXM1ASD4/G975FXXU1ASD4
Security Patch Level - 1 April 2019
Bought from Amazon from Seagull-UK
I have downloaded Smart Switch and before I reset my phone as a sescond step it kept struggling to connect - it would seem to constantly connect and re-connect (charging sound played constantly).
I eventual managed to get it to connect and did not see anything about a new update.
I then tried factory re-setting my phone and still the same issue.
I tried to use smart switch again and sometimes it did not connect at all and othertimes it started charing but smart switch stayed on the connect your phone screen and I just tried again while writting this post and had both of the above situations a few times then randomly got the 'mosture detected in charging port message
Any ideas?
Thanks

Galaxy S10 SeriesI understand you purchased the phone from the UK @DavidGW
Are you currently in the UK ?
Or have you imported the phone into your own country ?
Can you please download the phoneINFO App from the Playstore and look at what the CsC Code is and let me know.
I ask because I see the company you purchased from trades on Amazon. Some 3rd party sellers source their phones from all over. The CsC Code may help.
If you purchased the phone in the UK and your in the UK then if you can visit a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre and they maybe able to help.

Galaxy S10 SeriesXEU is a CsC code from a phone that's been sourced by a reseller
BTU is a Csc Code from a phone direct from Samsung.
From personal experience I've found that the XEU does not receive updates as fast.

Galaxy S10 SeriesCertainly does.
Security Patches are important.
Can you get to a Samsung Experience Store / Samsung Service Centre.
They'll need hands on to see what's happening.
Or call up Samsung UK Customer Services or use their Chat Feature to give them the serial number of the phone for them to officially advise @DavidGW

I purchased my S10+ brand new and SIM free from the carphone warehouse here in the UK and it's CSC info is identical to yours... I get updates super fast, usually before anyone even mentions its release here and in the press. Your CSC code isn't the issue here.
