What has Samsung done!? This upgrade is awful. The only improvement I can find is the camera. But I can't go anywhere to use the camera as the battery drains so quickly. Literally can't use the phone for anything if going out for a few hours.

Also, what's going on with editing photo's in the Gallery? Why does it have to save over the original photo?

Oh, and the keyboard is still useless too (from about 15 updates ago! )

This is just not acceptable. I was aboutvyo buy the S21 Ultra but hear it has the same issues so won't be bothering!

Update: I've now uninstalled the update and the phone is back to normal thankfully.

I'm using a Note 10 plus, and since the update I've had no problems.
Using buds+ listening to Spotify, playing games and using Bluetooth. I also think that clearing system cache will help.

I've cleared the cache already. I'm currently out walking, no music, nothing running and power saver on and it tells me I'll have 10 hours 55 minutes off a full charge. That's doing absolutely nothing with the phone.

What info do you need? I'm not very technical lol. it's currently telling me I'll have 10 hours 56 mins off a full charge with power save on and not using the phone at all.

OK, tap on the graph and it should show something like the attachment.
We can then see what is eating up the battery. Screenshot is power and vol down at the same time.

Funny you should say that , I'm still on beta version UI 3.0 and it always flashes up after a restart " this is beta software " but restarted today and it's not done it and iam still on beta !!

Thanks. Chrome at the moment eats battery. I would recommend using a different browser for the time being. Don't know if you have a bad signal but iPlayer is also a battery drain. It could be the app itself or the fact that WiFi and mobile data will burn up a lot of battery in a poor signal area.
Try disabling Iplayer and use a different browser for a few days and let me know how you get on.

Thanks. Not using Chrome isnt really an option as i use it synced across various devices for work and home. But it's never been an issue with battery drain. The iPlayer was a one off watching the rugby as I walked! I've uninstalled the update now and battery use seems back to normal. Just a pain having to reset all my apps and folders!

The problem is the Android 11 update. You can see what a battery hog Chrome is but once Google get their act together this should be more battery friendly.
