One UI Upgrade

What has Samsung done!? This upgrade is awful. The only improvement I can find is the camera. But I can't go anywhere to use the camera as the battery drains so quickly. Literally can't use the phone for anything if going out for a few hours. 

Also, what's going on with editing photo's in the Gallery? Why does it have to save over the original photo? 

Oh, and the keyboard is still useless too (from about 15 updates ago! )

This is just not acceptable. I was aboutvyo buy the S21 Ultra but hear it has the same issues so won't be bothering!

Update: I've now uninstalled the update and the phone is back to normal thankfully.

turn off enhanced processing, turn the screen brightness down, turn off bluetooth... and put apps to sleep.
I am now getting on average almost 2 days between charging on my s10+

S20+ 8 Months old I'm getting about a full day battery which includes playing games for around 4 hours battery has got better from previous devices

Thanks for replying. I would like to listen to music whilst walking like I could before the update (and should be able to) so need bluetooth. Apps are regularly closed and screen isn't very bright. I'll look at the enhanced processing to see if it helps. Thanks 😊

I've been a Samsung user for about 10 years and have never had a problem until this update ran a few days ago. Nothing is running in the background but the battery just drains rapidly.

the only thing with this update that I don't like it still pops up beta test box at the bottom when phone turns on

All working fine here. I suggest clearing system cache.

just remember to turn off bluetooth if it's not been used

I think you're a lucky one. Lots of people are having the same issues on the update and on the S21. I've cleared everything. And stopped everything running and it's still draining. I'm going to try and uninstall it back to previous version.

Luck doesn't come into it. All devices are the same. Post up your battery stats and let's see what we can do.
