Notification visibility S10+

Just installed One UI 3 on my S10+. Thought perhaps it would allow me to show notifications automatically when phone is locked. But no, I still need to use Glimpse Notifications. Like an iPhone/iPad I want the screen to wake up and display notifications when they arrive without me having to do anything.

Notifications for what? I get SMS notifications etc displayed at the top of the screen.

All notifications when phone is locked. Although I have Always On display enabled, that only shows notification icons and you have to interact with the phone to see the notification. I just want to see the notification without doing anything when it's next to me when I'm working.

I am also experiencing this annoying issue with the notifications on my S10 even with the latest updates.
Is Samsung planning to resolve this in UI 4.0 or expecting its user to keep struggling or use third party app. The request is pretty simple from an end user is to wake up the screen on every notification and also provide an option to don't combine the notifications (just show in the order they are coming) as it is there in iOS.
