Notification settings galaxy s10

Hi I used to be able to swipe my screen down to see my notifications, it also gave me the option to clear all or notification settings this has gone since my phone updated last night how do I switch it back on?

On your homescreen:
-pinch in the screen
-tap home screen settings icon
-enable swipe to display notification panel
