No notification light ?

I have had the galaxy s7 & s9 and got my new s10 last week  . Although  it's a nice new Samsung galaxy s10 . Its  let down by no indication flashing light to either let me know its charging or I've had a  missed call,email or text message . How can this be rectified  within  installing an app ?

@Frankie001: Although there is no LED notification, the S10 series have their LED lighting system located around the front camera’s cutout via Edge Lighting. To customise your Edge Lighting notifications please go to Settings > Display > Edge Screen > Edge Lighting > On > Lighting Style. Then, choose the apps your want Edge Lighting notifications for, and you should be good to go.

I was very let down by this too, although the edge lighting is different in my opinon its not nearly as effective, the notification led was always better and you could see you had a new notification if you left the room and came back a few minutes later you would see it where as if you miss the edge notification you have to keep checking your phone if its on silent, the led notification you could just see it flashing rather then touching the screen if you missed the edge lighting effect

Have you tried edge lighting and notifications reminders. In settings>accessibility>advanced settings>notification reminders> you can set a reminder to show every 3, 5, 10, or 15 minutes for your notifications.

Hi . Thank you for your reply and help  . If I'm honest I couldn't  sort the problem  .  As the previous Samsung  phones have had the  notification light which I  think  we were all happy 😊 with but I do miss  it
