NFC broken on ONE UI 4.0 Android 12 German S10 Plus Exynos

NFC payment via Google Pay still works but eID for german identity card is broken. AusweisApp 2 says "Extended Length not supported". This used to work on the last Android versions. 

Any fixes I could do myself? 

Maybe Android 12 update broke it.

I can  confirm this BIG PROBLEM!!!  I am now OUT of all IMPORTANT accounts like my TAX-Account on the government!! That could be very expensive for ME!!!

I opend also a call at the Governikus KG the provider of the app! - I got e ticket - but nothing more just now! I also transmitted the problem to heise security and other specialists...

Lets hope that the bug will be resolved quickly!

I Suppose that something on Android 12 on the app ist not really good implemented since there may have been a changement in the API or something like  that...

Also Italian eID can't be read anymore since I updated my S10e to Android 12!

I don't know how exactly it works, but the card NFC can be read read, but can't be used anymore for authentication or digital signature.

Since the update for my S10+ for January the NFC-Problem ist fixed and I can use my passport-App as before!

The same for me: apps using italian ID card are now working fine on my S10e, after January update.

I have the same specs as you & the NFC wont authenticate my passport chip.  It scans it, but wont finish it... says "unable to validate / scan" at the end of the process.  This is a nightmare.  Samsung, please let us know what to do & sort this out as I need to be able to do this.  Thanks!
