My lock screen is always asking the pattern even with fingerprint active.

In Settings > Lock screen > Screen lock type, is the toggle for finger print turned on?

@Prem95 ,Hello, it is normal that it asks you every so often for your unlocking pattern or PIN. It is indicated in Settings / Biometrics and security / Fingerprints / About unlocking with biometrics. Greetings.
