My albums have disappeared from my gallery.

I had 8 albums in my Gallery and they all disappeared.  I have lost all my pics and videos, I'm so upset! How do I get them back? Please help.

Have you tried turning phone off and back on?
Check recycling bin as they would be stored for 30 days before deleted

@subzali: Please can you also try heading to the Gallery app > Select the Albums tab > Tap the 3 dots in the top right > Hide or Unhide Albums, and check here to see if your albums are hidden. If not, check the Recycle Bin by tapping the 3 lines in the bottom right of the Gallery app > Recycle Bin.

I checked the recycling bin but they were not in there.

Are the pictures appearing in your Google Photos app?

Yes, they are all there

More likely that Google photos cleared them after synchronising your account. Hopefully no image data got lost in the transition.

Well, all the videos and pics that disappeared are in Google now, so happy they weren't lost completely.
