Lockscreen shortcut not working?

As I understand  it, lockscreen shortcuts have some that dont require the phone to be unlocked.  I've recently switched one of my shortcuts to torch, and now they dont work. I have to unlock my phone to use them.

I dont know if they worked before I changed them, as never used them.

Any one else had this?

Or am I misunderstanding? 

I'm on UI2, so maybe a bug? Cant report beta feedback now that its closed.

Hi @Bertie_bunghol ,

that is odd. have you tried to replace this with a different one to see if the issue persists? That will help me determine if the issue is with the torch itself or with the lock screen shortcuts.
