Is normal this battery drain? I have S10 exynos updated to the last version of android. I have GPS on, and bluetooth on because i have galaxy watch, but i still thinkisn't normal to have about 60% with less than an hour of screen on.

Ps: i have done a factory reset after upgrading to android 10 about a month ago

Hi @zummino

Battery usage is a very subjective topic as we all have our phones set up differently with different apps.

I can see your network signal isn't strong in your screenshot so your phone maybe working harder to maintain connection.

One good process of elimination is to put the phone in Safe Mode which disables any downloaded apps and leaves the stock ones working and then see what happens with your usage times.

I can see Google Chrome is using a chunk of %.

In my opinion Google Chrome is a resource hog so prefer to disable / force stop this in my phones Settings-Apps-Google Chrome and use the Samsung Internet Stock App instead.

When I did this the usage time on my phones improved.

If you feel it warranted a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre can run a diagnostic.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

As BandOfBrothers stated, you should try the process of elimination in "Safe Mode". However, the amount of battery that each app uses seems to match up with mine, especially the Chrome app, which has the exact same time usage. It killed 10% off of me. However, I do still get a solid 8 hours of screen on time, and only charge at the end of the day. Lately though, I've been getting into the habit of placing my device on a cooled wireless charger whenever it isn't in use. It charges up, and no cables or excessive heat.

No, it's not normal. I've had the same problem a few days ago, I was losing 1% of battery every minute when I had the screen on. I tried to convice myself that it's normal, but it just wasn't feeling right. Worth adding that mine was heating up more than usual. I went to an authorised service and they found a problem via the diagnositcs check, later today I'll pick it up and learn what was going wrong.

I hust received a phone call from them, they replaced the motherboard.
