Is it possible to disable music controls on the S10+ LED View case?

I love this case but the touch controls are very annoying, especially as they show up when closing the case. I frequently find that when listening to music, I have to be very careful about closing the case to put the phone in my pocket. Please give us the option to disable this.

In fact, the LED view case really needs way more options, such as disabling touch controls, preventing that annoying notification reminder (at least I think that's what it is - I have notification reminders turned off but I regularly get that circle animation thing go off), per app notification settings, LED timeout length , whether or not the LEDs turn on when closing the case etc . All of the logic for this is on the phone so I can't imagine there are any hardware barriers to implementation.

You can disable the music controls on the led cover if you disable the notifications for the app you are playing you are music on.

Go to settings -> notifications -> disable notification for your music app

hey, thank you very much. I'll try that! I just noticed, that on Samsung Music Player there's a setting "Über Sperrbildschirm steuern" (control over locked screen or something). If screen is locked when closing the cover it still shoes the panel but it seems not to work anymore. So this could be the solution to my problem. But I need to exam first.

Worked after a restart. The case is dead for the music player. However the problem that the case answers phone calls is still existing. I have to check that. Bummer to buy an expensive case and Samsung don't have the respect for the users to answer, fix or recall a case that they should not even offered to the market!!!!!!!!

Hey all.

This worked!

Go into your Notifications and shut off the notifications for your music app (whichever one you are using -- Spotify, etc).

Done.

Except I'm literally the only person who prefers to have this on. LOL.

I have the same problem. It is annoyingly stupid when you tap music start on Buds and at the same time touch control on Led Cover activates in your pocket. Please Samsung, do something.

This just got worse with latest firmware. Now even if I disabled app notification I can still control my apps from my pocket.

Very annoyed about changing radio channel every time I put phone in pocket

Same issue here. the controls even pop up if I shut down all apps that can play music or video.
Switching off notifications as described above doesn't work either.
Come on Samsung, fix this issue. I got my s10+ just a few days and I am already at the point where I want to cut the traces to the front to kill the LEDs alltogether.
I used to be quite happy with the LED cover on the S8, but this is really too annoying.

Same here. It was working fine until yesterday's update. Now I have to open and close the music app a few times until the led controls go away.

The musiccontrols stay on the cover now. Even if the musicapp is completely closed. Very annoying! Please fix it Samsung

Yes, same thing has started happening to me as well. Only way to get rid of it is to restart the phone. Come on Samsung, sort it!
