i have 1 year old Galaxy S10e, SM-G970F, and when i charge it in evening before go to bed i charge it to 100%. before Novembers update, it drains 5-6% till morning, i didnt care, but, now it drained from 100% to 80-85% till night, 15-20% of juice doing nothing. i never had that kind of issue before on any phone.. same thing is on wifes S9, G960F, in late evening, charged to 100%, in morning drops to 80%.

what is going on? is it sometnihg with November update? because till november, both phones drained about 5-8% over night, same settings. i cant use phone whe way i used it a years..

ideas?

dont say turf off everithing, because it works normally 2 week aho.

help!

I don't have a solution for this however I can say that I have an S10 and unfortunately I think it is just down to the awful Exynos chip which is on all phones worldwide apart from the US and China, which is known to drain the battery far faster than the snapdragon chip. one resolution could be to replace the battery but the batteries on most Samsung phones after the S9 that have this chip are notorious for this.

After software updates all phones with the Exynos chip lose so much battery power due to the CPU working at a higher performance level even if you turn this option off in power mode settings.

yes but i didnt have that issue on both phones since november patch. two different phones, S9 and S10e, different chipset, same behavour.. in battery stats says "phone radio" drains all.. at night, nobody touches phones. this pictures are on wifi only -14%. with cellular and wifi  -20% drain..

I'm facing this exact same issue on a US Snapdragon S8 variant so that's not because of Exynos.

My S9 is 2yrs old and has started draining from 100% to 0% then shuts off overnight. I use this phone as an alarm so not impressed at all. I've done the deleting of unused apps and the dark mode too plus close everything down. Not happy at all.

Dont use gsam monitor app..that apps drain your standby mode battery..i already uninstalled it..then wipe cache partition and it goes back to normal..average 1% for 1 hour standby. .hope it helps you..
