I want to disable start up sound on an a31

I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy a31 and a great phone except for 1 issue.

How do I turn off the start-up sound? I have tried and nothing works. Can't see any options to do it.

Why is this sound even there when nobody seems to want it?

The previous post issue is not solved and no idea why is it saying it is.

Turning the volume off and on is not a permanent solution

Can these posts be deleted?????

Brand new and it was making the sounds before I put a sim card in. Thank you all but I will close this now. Nothing is coming up when I have   googled for  the info

Did you purchase the phone from a Network as part of a contract @labeckerama  ?

I ask because this maybe part of their own software put onto the phone i.e a splash screen and start up sound.

As far as I'm aware this cannot be turned off via the phone's settings and I'm not sure if something like the Good Lock App could help or another launcher such as Nova Prime as one example.

I bought it online, not through any phone company.

Thanks anyway

It is something Samsung needs to fix it seems.

it has nothing to do about where you bought it . each company ie vodaphone , 3 , ect have their own 'tune'

A phone bought directly from Samsung typically won't have any splash screens or start up tunes which is why I asked the relevant question..

@Kerryo1 This is incorrect a phone bought direct from Samsung has what's known as unbranded firmware. a phone bought from a network may have the networks CSC (Consumer software customization or country specific code) meaning the network may add customized settings, system configurations, localizations and geo-specific things such as the system language, APN settings, and carrier-branding. Samsung don't add any of these by default

I did not buy it through a phone network or from Samsung direct. Others are having the same issue with Samsung devices.
