Galaxy S10 SeriesHi there! I've been playing a bit with the wide angle camera today, and I notice a weird bug.
Whether I set the HDR to on or off, pictures always come out with a hdr look.
I take the picture, and if I immediately open it in the camera roll, I see it changing from normal to HDR, as if it gets processed a couple of seconds after being shot. I tried to disable all the image enchantments but the result is the same, an hdr sky that I really do not like.
Only way to have a normal looking picture is to use pro mode, but you can't use it with the wide angle lens... anyone else noticed this issue?

Galaxy S10 SeriesWell, I won't go back to iPhone, but I agree. I'm also thinking of my next phone already, probably Pixel for me.
To be honest I was never happy with the color profiles of Samsung (just looking at Facebook and WhatsApp app icons' color still makes me a bit mad extremely over saturated - and no, using the other color profile is not a solution, cause that is just pale), the removed LED is a big regression and yes, of course the camera was always a dog and pony show for the general public. I saw this even on the test videos on YT, quite a while ago - specially the front facing camera: what a let down. I just didn't realize that the camera is important for me. And generally a lot of (UI) design things are not for me, I would never use the always on screen for example.
So yeah, I agree. : \

Galaxy S10 SeriesJust got a new S10+ and immediately stumbled across this issue. HDR is always on regardless of the settings. Samsung, please fix this asap.

I’m sorry but they won’t. They have been silent about this issue since day one. I returned my phone because of this.

Galaxy S10 SeriesIt is true. I am also very dissapointed by this trick from samsung. From my amateur photographers' perspective, "always on HDR" is very frustrating and keeps me off using my S10 camera. Even when HDR is off in the setting, software applies insane amounts of HDR in the post processing and destroys all the contrast and abient light, colours. Ultra wide angle camera is especially unusable because of that. I would never have bought S10 if I knew this. And will never recomend it to anyone who would consider it for phone-photography.

Galaxy S10 Serieshave the same problem too, also washed out colors, proximity sensor bugs, overheating problems continues. samsung making the same mistake as apple does because of they dominate the market they sell phones with old technology (just add some new fancy names) and no decent updates. it was a huge mistake to buy that phone
