Going crazy over S10 Display Issues

I recently upgraded from the S9 to S10 and the colors looked awfully washed out and with a slight yellow tint. Googled around a bit and saw others complaining similarly while some people said this is normal for the s10, so I accepted it and moved on.

The thing is, the next morning the display was working normally and colors looked great. That is until I got a videocall on whatsapp and the screen suddenly became washed out again. Now the problem is on/off, everytime the display is turned off for a few minutes it resets to the normal colors, but either going to homescreen or opening certain apps can make it become washed out. And it looks AWFUL.

I took some pictures with my old phone because some people kept saying online it was a color correction issues, but this seems to me like an overlay bug of some sort. These pictures were taken seconds apart as the screen switched from normal to washed out.

Notice the colors are much uglier, whites have a yellow tint and contrast seems to go down.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as it's quite literally driving me crazy.

I'd also like to highlight I've tried pretty much every solution found online to this issue, including resetting and setting blue light filter on with minimal opacity. Please help!!!

Yes, I have. As I said in The original post, its more of an overlay bug rather some color calibration issue, as the screen can be normal in a sec and then become rather dull in the next one

Thanks for your help tho

Tested adaptive brightness on and off to no success... but it has been off all along.

Trying to add a video I took of the transition to the "filter".

I've got an appointment with Samsung today but I'm pretty sure they're not gonna have any clue about this. I've been googling for 3 days now with no success. Just hoping they won't change the screen and charge me for it 😕

Honestly I've tried to find a solution for this for 5 months now with no success. Sadly the phone was handed down to me by someone who was upgrading, so I couldn't return it.
I'm fairly sure it's a software rather than hardware problem, which just makes this whole ordeal more frustrating.

Honestly it has put me off Samsung entirely, I've reached them in different channels with 0 help.

Haven't had an iPhone since the iPhone 3, but I guess it's time to go back.

Hello, I'm experiencing the same exact issue on my S10e. It's a week since the problem started and can't find a solution. Definitely a software problem, though. Did you find a solution, yet?

Thank you

G
