Gear VR issue

I have never had a Gear VR app or Oculus. Dvery time I switch my phone back on after the recent update, I always get a notification about Gear VR. It then says to uninstall (even though it is nowhere on apps), I have to uninstall Facebook. What's happening?

Not 100% but I am sure I read some where that Gear VR is no long available

Yeah I read that too. I have never had the Gear VR and the notification only started since recent update.

Sorry I miss read you post....my partner had the notification on her s10 when updated to android 12, wiped cache partition and the notifications stopped
