Hi
Since the latest update on my S10plus I keep getting a notification about Gear VR not being supported and to uninstall it, I press uninstall but it just lists Facebook stuff and says done, but then I have to update Facebook and log in etc, then the next morning the message that it is not supported is back. Anybody know how to get rid of this please?

It's Samsung issue that occurred after Android 12 was installed. This issue has not been corrected. I am sure Samsung will get around to correcting this at some point. DO NOT click on the uninstallation tab, just swipe away the Gear VR pop-up after a restart and go on with your life.

F'ING right. Do not click on the 'Uninstall Gear VR' tab, rather swipe to the left, the notification pop-up you get after a restart and continue to use your phone. Samsung will fix it a some point.

You're absolutely right. Our phones are now geezers by tech standards and app like FB will continue to push updates that squeeze oursout for not being compatible. Samsung is doing the same disservice that I abhor from Apple. Btw, their TVs do it, too. Not compatible with the newer streaming channels (AMC vs AMC+).
