Hi
Since the latest update on my S10plus I keep getting a notification about Gear VR not being supported and to uninstall it, I press uninstall but it just lists Facebook stuff and says done, but then I have to update Facebook and log in etc, then the next morning the message that it is not supported is back. Anybody know how to get rid of this please?

Same here

Same issue here. If you go through to the notification to remove it, like others have said it just logs you out of Facebook and uninstalls Messenger!

Exactly the same issue. Does no one have a solution?

Same, in Sweden if it matters.

The same thing happens to me, I reinstalled messenger and thought it was ok but I've just had another update and now I am getting the message up again. It's really frustrating as I don't have any VR apps on my phone.

Same problem here in the UK on my S10+ and my wife's S10. Never had Oculus or Gear stuff so assume it's somehow bundled in bloatware so can't find/ delete it.

I have the exact same issue on my S10+ (in Canada). I send a message to Samsung on Samsung Members. They suggest a soft rest (hold volume down button and power off at the same time). It didn't work and still get the message pop up after rebooting.

I have this exact issue as well. Sweden and just like people have said all it does is uninstall Facebook apps. Gear VR isn't even something I have on my phone. At the time being I just ignore/swipe away the notification as it arrives, just hoping it won't become a forced thing.
EDIT: I have a Samsung Galaxy S10+, running Android 12 and One UI 4.0
