Galaxy S10 predictive text not working

Asked to load an emoji update and have lost predictive text. Settings show predictive text as on and greyed out...cannot be changed. Can i reverse the update? Or how do i resolve this?

this happend to me. thank you so much so how I got mine working again is as followed:
1.from your key pad tap the mini keypad icon in the bottom right. ( under the enter key).
2. from there select samsung keyboard.
will then go back to normal with prodective text back.
