My phone plays some Mp3 files. But others that play fine on the computer will not play
This happeed after my sd card got corrupted, before that they all played fine. The SD card has been replaced, but files will still not play. Any ideas how to fix without a factory reset? #mp3

I doubt a factory reset will help. The files are likely to be corrupt. As your PC can see the files try to reencode one and see if that repairs it.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. If the files were corrupt then they wouldn't play on the pc. They play I standard media player, which can be a bit fussy. I was thinking of encoding to wav and back again as a test. To see if that worked. Also checked the files with mp3val abd it said they were fine.

Let me know how you get on with the test. It's a strange problem.

Looks like you were correct. The new sd card is flakey, as Mp3 tracks work on internal storage, not on sd card
