Galaxy s10 battery drain after latest update August 2020

Hi all 

I updated my galaxy s10 last night and all day today my phone has been overheating and battery is draining extremely fast. I’m cracking up . I remember this happening with my s3 years ago and I swore I’d never buy a  Samsung again and here I am a sucker for punishment!  

Anyways is anybody else having this issue , I have tried previous suggestions from different threads other than doing a factory reset any help would be great fully received

I think I have it sorted seems to be a problem with google play services cleared app dara and cache and seems to have done the trick

I have also issues after installing last update: the battery drain completely during the night, overheating and stops with charging when the battery is at 81%.

I bet everyone here is from Ireland. Its caused by the Covid-19 app, Google are working on a fix. I had the same issue and deleted covid19 app and am back to normal so far today.

I got it sorted it was the google play services that was the problem it seem to be after the update unknown the covid app is apparently causing trouble but I have had no problems with It

Same here, the phone its heating verry badly and the frame itself its very hot.

I had a problem with battery drain from the update of june, the july solve it, august broke all( the battery drain, heating issue all its back.)

Les just hope they get it right with the september update and i swear i never update until android 11 and 12 according to the new news reggarding upadating certain models 3 year, not 2.

yes I'm having the same issue on S10 since the upgrade.

Same here. I haven't experienced this kind of battery draining fast like this before.
