So received my buds today. Thought it would be great if we all share how to get the best sound out of the buds here :i-love-you-hand:

OK, here is a way to get SLIGHTLY better sounding buds/Bass:

Prerequisites:

ACCESS DEVELOPER OPTIONS

Settings > About phone> software information> tap Build Number until you see a pop up (5-6 Times). Backout to the main settings and its at the bottom of the list.

STEPS:

  • Connect Buds
  • Go to Wear app, Set long hold on touch pad to "Volume up/Down"
  • Go to bluetooth settings > 3 Dot Menu > Advanced > Disable "media Volume Sync"
  • Go to Devleloper Options and select "Disable absolute Volume"
  • Insert buds, Play music and hold the Volume up ON THE BUDS
  • Then, Turn volume up on the device

This is as about as loud as they get, but its a marked improvement over stock settings, Mainly because unless you know, turning the volume up on the buds will turn the device volume up, despite the buds not being at their loudest first.

Best Setting in the EQ is, Overall, Dynamic IMO. Bass boost is too Artificial.

Except normal earbuds don't have a volume control on them. Only the X ones.

Well, I found it  it's not a button as such, just a gesture for volume up and down  mine by default had voice control.

This is the issue, The buds by default are not set to maximun volume and unless you know, your just turning up the Media volume on the phone rather then the buds.

Thanks for this, I do get an improvement to the volume after changing the "Disable absolute volume" option.

When I go to Bluetooth settings though, "Media volume sync" is greyed out so I can't disable it? It says "Not supported by the connected Bluetooth device. I'm using the Galaxy Buds..

Thanks for your help
