Has anybody else found the fingerprint sensor lately has been selective in working or not? I have both thumbs registered, left thumb doesn't work at all now, right thumb works when it wants too and try to add another it struggles to the point you give up.

Okay back to not working, removed screen protector, turned sensitivity off again. Still being an ass. Can't add anymore finger prints cos it's intermittent. Guess it's time for a new phone

I have the same issue, it's hit and miss. Sometimes it works and then all of the sudden stops working. This was after the android 12 update. S20+

I switched off sensitivity, removed screen protector, cleaned screen, gave it a couple of days then added my prints again. So I have 2 prints of each thumb, so far working.

I feel that my sensor stopped working after the update.
I'm planning to flash back an old Android just to confirm sensor will get back normally, but since this would take a while, I'm procrastinating to do so.
I've also Factory Reset and same issue.

No screen protector, tested sensitivity High / Low. Nothing works

Has anyone found something to solve this?
