Fast charge 2.0 pad

Could someone explain to me why is Samsung fast charge 2.0, pad which provides 12 W,charging Samsung galaxy S10 as fast as a 15 W adapter plugged in charging ?

The pad comes with a 25 W charger but it s provides 12 W, 3 W less for a wireless charging, than the 15W fast cable charging.

I  do not think the Samsung 2.0 Pad is  quite as fast as wired charging, however minor difference.  Only one side 2.0 though amd slows down if also charging another https://www.androidcentral.com/samsung-fast-wireless-charging-20
