Hi,

Can anyone tell me why my alarm worked perfectly and would wake me up even though its set before my 'do not disturb' switches off & now my phone has updated (within the last few days) my alarm now no longer works properly.
For while my alarm actually 'goes off' I am unaware of this fact anymore as the 'do not disturb' is actually hindering it from vibrating.

As you can see from the image the alarm is set as an exception.

This along with the fact I can now also no longer get rid of the camera shutter noise, which for me is the equivalent of nails being drawn down a blackboard (even though my system noise settings are to the far left and switched off) basically means that in a few months time, when I look for a new phone galaxy is not going to be my priority phone.

Very annoyed to say the least.

I have just deleted my 'sleeping' schedule for do not disturb and then added it again so its set up fresh, will test it in the morning.

I have now removed the 'sleeping' cycle that was switched on via the Samsung Health app, as I've just read its linked it to the clock and I had them 'set' to different times & to be honest it's not a function I paid any attention to.
I either sleep or I don't.

So I'm now hoping this is what was causing the conflict but we shall see, come tomorrow morning.

Do you mean the sleep target in the Samsung Health app? 🤔

In regards to your original query your screenshot appears to show that your alarms have been set as exceptions. You may want to either remove the ala from exceptions or amend the dnd to custom settings that finish at the time your alarm is set for

I would if it wasn't for the fact that at the very top it states

"Do not disturb mutes calls and alerts 'except' for your selected exceptions

& my alarm only used to work if it was switched on in the 'exceptions' section, as an exception

way to much use of the word exception 😂

Hopefully it's something that will be fixed with 3.1 update 🤞

I woke earlier than my alarm this morning, and do not disturb was switched off, can't figure out why it's switching off before 7.

But, I have now turned off my schedule and enabled do not disturb in bixby routines, and my alarm sounded and vibrated at 6am with do not disturb on, so I'm not experiencing the same alarm problem as you. I thought that possibly my alarm was sounding as normal because do not disturb schedule was being turned off.

Might be worth trying the same and enabling it through Bixby routines to see if your alarm works correctly or not.
