disappearing folders in email s10 5g

hi I move a email to a folder,go back maybe days later click on the folder and it comes up and promptly empties itself

This occasionally happens with my email folders too @harryandeileen1 

I use an imap type email set up which relies on it syncing with your email servers.

I'm not 100% sure but I think this is why sometimes the folder is empty.

The emails are still there if you login to your main email login page online awaybfrom the email app.
