Different color on home screen and lock screen

So recently, with the latest update 

I noticed that the home screen has a different colour profile to the lock screen. The home screen looks pale compared to the lock screen. Anyone knows what can cause this?

if you have dark mode on, check dark mode settings to see if you have the apply to wallpaper toggle turned on.

Did you ever fix this? Just upgraded and my new phone has this issue, its like none of my display settings work on the lock screen - bedtime mode, adaptive brightness, eye comfort shield etc 😰

I have the same issue on my note20 Ultra. I had it also on my note10+ and note9. It is something software-related for sure, but I could not understand what causes it. I have seen on other forums many people complaining about samsung screen inaccuracies, but I suspect the problem is not an hardware one, as I suggested.

my sample image looks fine in the media gallery and in the lock screen, only the home wallpaper is affected
