Deactivated SIM still receives calls

Samsung S10

SIM Card Manager was used to switch SIM 2 off

This is confirmed by SIM 2 being greyed out and unavailable to use and also by the absence of a second cellular connection strength indicator at the top of the screen

When other people call the number for which the SIM is disabled, the phone still rings.

Why is this please?

Thanks,

Hugh

Power off the device.

Press volume up, bibìxby key and then the power button and keep all the 3 buttons pressed.

Now you will be into recovery mode and select and run the wipe cache partition, then reboot.

Let me know

A nice try, thank you Archer but sadly no joy; the handset still rings when the disabled SIM is slot 2 is called.  Yes, I checked via the SIM Card Manager that it was still "off" (it was) and that there was only one radio connection strength indicator shown.

Other ideas welcome!

Cheers.

Any more suggestions, please?

I was hoping for a community but with the exception of Archer it seems to be an empty house.

Thanks.
